Meet A Group Of Novice Videographers…
For the last two years, a group representing several diverse communities—including Mi’kmaw, African Nova Scotian, and Acadian—came together to create a documentary. Learning how to “outsmart their smartphones,” these novice videographers sought out thinkers in the community to discuss systemic racism. They titled the documentary What (a) Wonderful World?, intentionally leaving out the “a” from the famous song What a Wonderful World.
If you are white and speak the predominant language of your community, you probably haven’t experienced systemic racism or discrimination. But it touches us all.
